Welcome to Watson's Toolbox!

Watson's Toolbox is a small application for ad-hoc text recognition/OCR - either from an image file, or directly from your clipboard.

You will surely find my little toolbox useful, if one of the following situations sounds familiar to you:

• Someone decided to share some text with you... by screenshotting it.
• You receive a scanned document - as a jpeg or non-searchable pdf.

You just need some relevant information from it: a number, an address, etc. What do you do? You either have to run the entire thing through OCR, or re-type the relevant parts manually, right?

Not anymore!

With Watson’s Toolbox you can either screenshot a part of your screen, and paste it on the "OCR from Clipboard" page, or upload several images, and select regions for text recognition on the "OCR from files" page.
